Applications:
Decolorization and purification of used machine oils, animal and poultry feed, production of sulfur fertilizers, as well as activation for the purification of edible oils.

A brief overview of the discovery of Qara Naz bentonite

In 1968 and 1969, the imposed war had just ended, and our beloved country was taking slow but firm and decisive economic steps. The industrial and mining activities of the private sector were also taking shape, and we had all joined hands to develop our country.

Due to my interest in nature tourism, I thought about mining and, accompanied by a group of friends, discovered several mines and sought their legal registration. At that time, interested managers of the General Directorate of Mines provided great help with their guidance.

According to the field research of myself, Ali Akbar Mohammadi (the founder of the aforementioned companies and the discoverer of the Qaranaz bentonite mine), in the eastern part of the country, which is dry and salty, a type of bentonite with a high yield is found. After completing the legal affairs, it was named "Garahnaz Bentonite Mine Exploitation License".

Uses of Qara Naz bentonite soil

It took years and we incurred a lot of expenses until one of the founders of industrial oil refining in Iran, Mr. Hossein Nayiri (owner of Kaveh Tar Company), became interested and made the first purchase in the form of lumps from our company.

Later, it quickly became clear that this type of bentonite was one of the best minerals available in Iran and even the Middle East, which was used to purify industrial and edible oils; for this reason, it was named "dyeing clay."

Tens of thousands of tons of this mineral are purchased annually for activation, and this is the only reputable company in Iran whose products have customers throughout the country and can be exported.

It is with pride that we inform you that the Gharanaz mine, with reserves of several hundred million tons and excellent and unparalleled quality, serves the industries and has built a large factory for the production of color-bearing soil from production to consumption.
